I think the biggest unexplored potential of AI is reverse engineering. Imagine dumping the firmware for any device, putting it through an agent system and letting it run for 16 hours and coming back to a clean and documented version of the disassembled code. Then being able to modify that with one prompt. No more vendor lock-in for anything. Ads on your TV? Just remove them.
Alright, it's probably not so easy, but let me be optimistic about technology for once.
