I blame javascript framework bloat for making people think they need big bucks to run a website. Even microblog artists seem to be relearning the art of just slapping pngs on an html page and an RSS to host galleries.

I hate JS frameworks with passion and guess what I hate even more? How people are acting like astro.js is this crazy brand-new breakthrough like wow, it only ships the JS that’s actually needed and otherwise the user gets static HTML. As if that wasn't always the case before angular and react came along.

i run my personal blog on a 2 CPU 2 RAM VPS for 5 bucks a month and it works like a charm
