unfortunately all video game characters and especially all video game stories suck ass. if you want to experience half-way decent story telling, the only way to get that is to read books, since hollywood also sucks ass. that being said probably the most engaging writing ive seen in a game is hades. half the reason i still play the game is to unlock more dialogue. havent played it yet but i hope the writing is hades 2 is at least as good
